EyeDream utilises the tried and tested DreamLite lens design that has been available in Europe since 2002 and currently boasts thousands of happy patients.
Put simply, you wear these contact lenses whilst you sleep, remove them in the morning, and then throughout the day you can see without the need for contact lenses or spectacles!
How is that possible?
Well, whilst you sleep with the lens in overnight, it will slightly re-shape your cornea. In the morning, when you wake up, the EyeDream lenses have temporarily eliminated your short sightedness. The effect of the change to the cornea is strong enough for patients to continue their daily lives for the entire day without the need for any corrective lenses.
EyeDream lenses are also used for myopia control in children. Myopia is known as ‘short sightedness’, where near objects are clear but objects in the distance are blurred. There is no cure for myopia but Eye Dream lenses can be used to slow/halt the progression of myopia.
Imagine, no more irritating dry eyes from those long days or being in dry/smoky environments, and no limitations on how long you wear your lenses!
Would EyeDream work for you? Who Should consider Eye Dream Lenses.
If you have a low to mid shortsighted prescription, you may want to consider this option. The benefits of a EyeDream lens include the freedom from contact lenses or spectacles during the day and a very easy adaptation as only overnight lens wear is required. These lenses allow a safe and reversible vision correction therapy without the added risks and costs of surgery. It is also the most comfortable, affordable and semi-permanent alternative for the correction of shortsightedness. Unlike soft contact lenses, EyeDream lenses allow more flexibility for fulfilling the demands that your lifestyle places on your eyes.
